Pete Mogan of Peter Angus Forest Products in Etobicoke, Ontario, won a portable
stereo CD/radio for picking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the Oakland Raiders
in the Super Bowl. Of the 133 contestants in the Random Lengths 2003 Super Bowl
Contest, five picked Tampa Bay to beat Oakland, but Mogan won the tiebreaker
by predicting that 56 points would be scored in the game.
Finishing second and winning a pair of binoculars was Don Hayes of Sunbelt
Forest Products in Bartow, Fla. Third-place winners who won Random Lengths golf
shirts were Ken Thomas of Taiga Forest Products, Burnaby, B.C.; Jim Sellmeyer,
Do-Able Products, Chino, Calif.; Christy Hollenback, Tricon Timber, St. Regis,
Mont.; and Bill Sharp, Weyerhaeuser, Boise, Idaho.
