| Western lumber production through July totaled 6.635 billion board feet, up 10.7% compared to the first seven months of 2009, according to the Western Wood Products Association. Production through July was up 11.5% in the Coast region and 9.3% in the Inland. July production across the West was 901 million board feet, down 1.5% from the July 2009 total. - 9/7/2010

| U.S. lumber production through June totaled 12.287 billion board feet, up 3.7% from the first six months of 2009, according to the Western Wood Products Association. First-half production in the West was up 12.7% compared to a year ago. The South was down 3.8% during the same period. June production nationwide totaled 2.035 billion feet, off 8.7% from the June 2009 total. - 9/3/2010

| Canadian lumber production in June, the month in which shipments to the U.S. were free of export taxes, increased just 3% from May and fell short of March and April levels. However, at 1.9 billion board feet, June production was 23% above the June 2009 level. Year-to-date production through June reached 11.0 bbf, 20% ahead of the 2009 rate. Gaining 5% from May to June, British Columbia was at 5.7 bbf through June, up 21%. Quebec and New Brunswick declined from May to June, although at 391 million board feet, Quebec was 54% higher than in June 2009. Nova Scotia output totaled 35 mmbf in June, more than double the year-earlier level, and year-to-date output of 183 mmbf was up 71%. - 9/1/2010
