| U.S. LBM Holdings, headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., has closed its acquisition of Universal Supply Co., formerly owned by Stock Building Supply. With eight facilities, Universal is a pro dealer providing millwork, roofing, siding, and other building materials to New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. - 1/25/2010

| Georgia-Pacific announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Grant Forest Products' OSB mills in Englehart, Ontario, and an associated facility at Earlton, Ontario, as well as OSB mills in Allendale and Clarendon, S.C., for about $400 million. Grant intends to seek approval of the agreement from the Canadian court overseeing Grant's Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act case and a U.S. bankruptcy court. G-P intends to operate the OSB mills in Ontario and at Allendale, S.C. At the Clarendon plant, G-P plans to complete the unfinished construction and begin operations as soon as market conditions allow. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2010, following appropriate Canadian and U.S. regulatory review and court approval. - 1/11/2010
