Rosboro announces two-week shutdown
Rosboro, Springfield, Ore., has announced that its stud mill, dimension mill, and glulam plants will be down for two weeks during the holidays, from December 25 through January 5. Shipping will continue Tuesday through Friday during the holiday shutdown.

Seneca announces holiday downtime
Seneca Sawmills has announced that its dimension mill in Eugene, Ore., will be down December 15 through January 1. The company's stud mill in Eugene and its sawmill in Noti, Ore., will be down December 25 through January 1. Normal hours will resume January 2 for all production sites.

Swanson Brothers announces cutback, holiday downtime
Swanson Brothers Lumber, Noti, Ore., has announced that they have cut production by 30%, as of this week. The company also will be taking downtime for maintenance starting on December 25. The sawmill will start production again on January 8, and the planer on January 15. Sales and shipping will stay open during the shutdown.

Seneca taking downtime week of Thanksgiving
Seneca Sawmill Company has announced that its production facilities in Eugene and Noti, Ore., will be down November 20-26. Operations will resume regular shifts and hours on November 27. The sales office will be closed November 23-24.

Roseburg announces curtailment at Dillard sawmill
Roseburg Forest Products will be curtailing the Dillard, Ore., sawmill operation beginning October 21 in an effort to allow log deliveries to restore inventories to more efficient levels. The company plans to restart the mill mid- to late next week. The dry kilns, planer, and shipping will continue to operate.

Swanson to curtail production at two mills
Swanson Group announced it will curtail operations at its sawmill in Glendale, Ore. and its stud mill in Roseburg, Ore., beginning Friday, September 8. The company cited low log inventories caused by fire restrictions that have reduced logging. Both plants will stay down until log flows return to normal.
